GoMGee : the walking plaza

Finally it has happened (a month ago, actually). A walking plaza in Pune!!! A welcome change from the mad traffic on MG road, the walking plaza has been in the news quite regularly since its inception. One walk through MG road and you can feel every shop including those which you failed to notice when not on foot. On the flip side, the walking plaza has been vehemently opposed by a group of shop owners on MG road who have gone as far as keeping their shops shut during the "walking plaza" time.
